Welcome to Larc School

Serving Students with Developmental Disabilities since 1968

Larc School is a non-profit special needs school in Bellmawr, NJ, created with the sole purpose of providing for the specialized needs of children with disabilities.

Renowned for our warm, family-like atmosphere, we strive to meet the needs of all students (ages 3-21 years) and adults (21 years and older) and provide opportunities for growth, development, and independence with dignity and respect.

Our Wish List

So often people reach out to us to ask if there is anything we need. We are sharing our Larc School Amazon Wish List for those who would like to make a purchase and have items sent directly to the school. Thank you all so much for all your generosity during this time and throughout the year. We are so grateful!

Exceptional Services and Therapies

Larc School’s special education program and therapies provide appropriate challenges focusing on our students’ abilities, not their disabilities. Our teachers utilize research-based teaching techniques and individualized, multi-sensory instruction that follow all the guidelines of the New Jersey Department of Education. Our secondary program provides effective opportunities for growth and independence in activities of daily living, work readiness skills, and community outings.

A Message from the Board

James Rhodes, Vice Chairman of the Larc Board of Directors by James RhodesAs Vice-Chairperson of the Larc Board of Directors I want to thank all our sponsors,

If it wasn’t for Larc School caring so much about the things Jayla can do and accomplish in life, she wouldn’t be doing the things she can do today. She has come LONG way with your help and support.

Larc School Parent

Thank you Larc for never giving up on my son Christopher. You have always seen what he CAN do, rather than what he can’t.

Larc School Parent

Larc has been a second home to Caleb since he was 3 years-old. Caleb was never supposed to walk more than a few feet. Because of Larc, he now walks everywhere. I just mention his teacher Stacy’s name and he gets excited. He would not have progressed to his full potential without Larc. Thank you!
